Weekend in San Francisco

I had to be in San Francisco for a conference (though I later needed to add a quick overnight to Las Vegas), and Nate was on major travel, we decided to meet for the weekend with my uncles. They’re not really my uncles, but they’re such close family friends, that they are even closer than family. Wayne and Dick usually come visit us a couple times a year since I was very young. They moved to San Francisco before I was born, but we have been out to visit them a few times, and I love their place in Noe Valley. It is great to get an opportunity to spend time with them because they live across the country. They graciously invited us to stay.

I love San Francisco. It’s such a beautiful city and there are always new things to explore.

We went down to the Embarcadero and paid a visit to the Musee Mecanique. It’s an old penny arcade, and it was so much fun! We got out $20 in quarters and played almost all of the old games! It definitely was a unique way to spend the afternoon. It’s incredible how all of these old arcade games still work!

Wayne took us down to the Golden Gate Bridge Park and we decided to take a walk on the beach.
