Southwest Fish Market

Nate and I decided that we wanted to do an oyster night, so we headed off to the fish market to pick up oysters.

It was a gorgeous summer day, so I threw on my favorite Persifor dress along with my beautiful emerald Loren Hope jewelry and my adorable Kate Spade snail purse.

The fish market in Southwest DC is a vibrant place. It’s not always the best smelling, but it’s a lot of fun, and one of the only places to pick up certain types of seafood.

Usually, this day involves a lot of hovering as you wait for service. Beautiful fish, and all kinds of shellfish.

The oysters looked gorgeous.

To be adventurous, we picked up some conch meat in addition to the oysters!

Two and a half dozen oysters all wrapped up.
