This past Memorial Day Weekend was extremely low key for Nate and me. Normally, I try to go home to the Jersey Shore and celebrate the beginning of the summer, but we have so much going on in the next few weeks, and just didn’t feel up to the stress of driving to NJ. Though I was seriously jealous of everyone’s frolicking beach pics, there is something wonderful about a staycation. Nate and I got the garage cleaned out, fixed up the house, and just relaxed.
Because most of the weekend was raining, we took advantage of the dash of sunshine we received on Memorial Day. We took a walk into Old Town, saw the Spanish El Galeon (post to come next week), and had a little lunch, before heading home to grill out with some friends. Definitely ended on a high note.
Our pups were so happy to have us home with them throughout a full three day weekend. Here are some post grilling photos to close out the weekend.
I hope everyone had a nice three day weekend! I am pretty excited that the weekend is almost upon us again.

Minerva and I clearly both saw something off in the distance.
