That Pink Door and the Party Lions in Flamingo

One of the things that I was most excited to see in Palm Springs was the stunning architecture and particularly the doors. As the owner of a townhome with a strict HOA, the idea of these stunning entranceways was something I have long had on my bucket list.

On this visit, it got dark very quickly, so we weren’t able to do as many neighborhood crawls as I would have liked, but we did make it to see the two I wanted most which was That Pink Door and the Party Lions. They’re not in poor company. Their street has many other stunning home fronts.

But to me, nothing compares to That Pink Door.

I purchased this yellow flamingo dress at a small dress shop in Las Vegas with my friend Melissa. When I was packing for this trip and tearing through my closet to find a pink dress that wouldn’t clash with the door, I realized that this flamingo print was exactly the ticket. I paired it with these beautiful blush pink crystal bow shoes from ASOS, a fascinator headband from ASOS, my caged bird purse from Kate Spade, and these beautiful gems from Loren Hope. I loved how this dress twirls. It’s got a full skirt with lots of movement, and it’s just darling. I was so happy to finally get to see the pink door in person, that I had to Mary dance a little out of sheer joy.

Party Lions require a party, right?

I can’t wait to go back to Palm Springs and continue my door exploration!
