Sequin Joggers at the Lincoln Memorial

With as much time as I spend on travel, it’s sometimes hard for even me to remember that I’m based in DC. I realized this the other day, because Nate and I tend to not eat out a lot when we are both home. I was searching for a restaurant for dinner with a friend and I realized just how little I have eaten out in DC in the past year. So many of the listed restaurants were unfamiliar! I decided to shoot some looks around town to remind MYSELF where I’m based!

These jogging pants were a nice little shopping karmic moment. While down in Nashville, Kiki and I went to Flip Nashville, an AMAZING luxury consignment shop, and I found this fabulous pair of sequin jogging pants from Anthro. They were an XS, which is really not my size, but Kiki is super tiny despite being so tall and they fit her BEAUTIFULLY. I was super jealous, and of course they were sold out online. Low and behold, a few weeks later, I found ONE pair in store at home in Alexandria, for the same sale price that FLIP had them sold at! They were a size larger than I normally wear, but they fit and were so comfortable, despite being a little too roomy.

I paired them with my J.Crew collection sweater, my beloved lace up Jimmy Choos, and a little bit of sparkle.

Yes, I definitely need to start posting more DC posts now that spring is upon us! I have a lot of backlogged travel content to share, but I’ll try to add some in as we go! ❤️
