Rainbow and Unicorn Magic at the Flour Shop in NYC

Do you want to go to rainbow paradise? Step into NYC’s Flour Shop for the most colorful experience! I had read about Flour Shop’s gorgeous explosion cakes, and was dying to try one. Not for the faint of heart, they are not inexpensive, nor are the small ones truly tiny. Fortunately, Nate is an excellent consumer of cake, and agreed to experiment this tasty treat with me!

When we first arrived at The Flour Shop, we were so excited to see the rainbow bursts of color on the bright white walls and floor. So beautiful! Secondly, we were greeted with another treat option… we could get a custom print coffee top!

Do you want your faces on a coffee? Because we did.

Nate was pretty psyched to be honest.

I saw that there weren’t just rainbow cakes… but there were UNICORN CAKES. Obviously that happened. By chance, I had pickedup this pretty rainbow tunic from Tuckernuck a week before the trip. I threw it into my suitcase at the last minute, but remember it for this excursion! How perfect, right?

This rainbow wall mural is EVERYTHING! With my Tuckernuck top and this unicorn cake? It’s like stepping into my own dream world.

This may literally be the most magical little cake ever. The insides were delicious! The cake was soft and moist, and the candy inside was delicious. We almost died eating this whole thing (after lunch) between the two of us… but we managed!

If you have the chance to make it over the Flour Shop in NYC, definitely stop by! If you aren’t feeling quite so cake-venturous, get yourself one of their pretty rainbow cakepops!
