I love a great wall, and I am so delighted that Las Vegas has become such a great city for art! Once you get off the strip and make a trip downtown, it’s such a delightful area. I was in town for work, and couldn’t resist a photo! This wall was new since I’ve last been there, and I loved all the pinks and purples. Very cool.
I’ve said before that I tend to shy away from yellows, but I can pull one off it’s a bright canary or bright sun tone. This dress was bright and bold, and when I saw it on the J.Crew Factory site, I needed it. It sold out very quickly, but is available in other colors. I love the cold shoulder look and the thick straps that don’t bunch up the way other such tops do. The sleeves have a little flare and I of course had to pair them with my beloved Loefflers. I said I’d wear these all summer, and I will! I’ve absolutely already got my moneys worth, as I wear them all the time. So comfortable, and still such a beautiful heel! I added some bright pops of pink to balance the yellow. These adorable tote from Sun Jellies is a purchase from Studio DIY. Obsessed. It holds everything.
I figured since we were in Vegas, I should change up the makeup a little bit! Firstly, I always use my Fenty Beauty Foundation for a more polished look. When I’m going for a more natural look, I’m a stickler for Chanel, but Fenty gives me a lot more coverage (which is great for photos). Over the holidays last year, I invested in a Sephora Pro Eye Palette with a huge range of colors and for the first time, decided to use one of the brighter pinks and gold shadows. I really liked the effect! I think for Vegas and this beautiful, bright yellow dress it was great. I don’t know if it’s my every day look, but definitely for this one. Appropriately, using the Fenty Metal Moon highlighter. To finish it off, I used this stunning pink lippie, which is one of my favorite bright colors. Lipstick is Candy Venom. (Blush is NARS Bumpy Ride, Mascara is Benefit’s Badgal Bang).
Like I said, so many cool walls in Las Vegas!
Sometimes it’s hard to get the full shot. I wanted to show you what I’m looking at in this photo. haha.
Perfection!!! I could cry, these flamingo earrings are just so stinking cute!! Bishop Boutique posted them, and I DMed them immediately to claim a pair! They also have lobsters and mermaids (more on those later), but these flamingos caught my eye immediately. I also knew they had to meet at least one of their brethren, so Flamingo Earrings, meet Flaming Wall.
