The beauty of Vegas is that it’s an incredibly colorful city. There is art everywhere, and they don’t shy away from making bold statements. As a former musician (fun fact, I grew up playing violin and then clarinet for years), I have a huge appreciation for music as an art, and Tim Bavington’s Pipe Dream at the Smith Center combines some of my absolutely favorite things. The sculptural pipes are sized to represent the musical scale and each pipe is a note. Though he is more famous for rock and roll pieces, this one is Aaron Copeland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man.” Incredible, right? I also think the fact he used auto paint to increase the longevity was brilliant!
I found this dress on ASOS, and I immediately thought- this is so me! The adorable bell sleeves, collar, and crystal embellishments are everything! It’s a darling dress, and it’s scuba! I’m sure people might find it weird, but I love scuba fabric. It’s very flattering.
Such a darling dress required me to break out the silver bow shoes and my favorite swan purse! My little swan has been all over Miami, and I thought it deserved a trip to Vegas. Everything about this look made me feeling whimsical and it gave off serious Kate Spade vibes.
