Historic Jones Street in J.Crew Pink

The incredible Jones Street was one of my number one Savannah must sees!

The architecture, the gorgeous, moss lined streets? Simply stunning. So much of Savannah is just otherworldly. You feel as though you are have stepped into some kind of wonderland, and it’s hard to describe how marvelous you feel.

Historic Jones Street

Jones Street is considered to be the prettiest street in Savannah, and among the most appealing in the United States. Its charm lies in the picture presented by its mid-19th century architecture and its trees, with its many high-stooped Greek Revival houses softened by the fronds of moss suspended from its overarching canopy of trees.

Jones Street has few “attractions,” as such, and is more of an attraction in itself, a quiet and beautiful place for a walk that still bears many of the outward characteristics of an older period in Savannah’s history.

Last year I purchased this dress in Navy. It is one of my all time favorite dresses. When I saw that it was available in pink (and now green), I could not pass it by. I usually do not like to purchase multiples of the same style in different colors, but this was definitely not one to pass by. I did not see it in green initially, so now I am so sad to have missed it in my size!

The white piping and the bow? Truly a dress to feel both whimsical and work appropriate in for any occasion! with my Kate Spades and Cult Gaia purse, it felt like the exact right outfit to meander down Jones Street .
